Rococo & 18th Century

Eighteenth-century coffee imagery is rare — coffee was a relatively new European drink during the rococo period, just establishing itself in Parisian salon culture. Boucher, Bonnet, Chardin, and a small number of other artists produced the surviving record. These are the oldest pieces in the archive.
